Privacy Policy
Studio Lab is a hospitality technology business based in Perth, Western Australia. This policy explains exactly what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and how you can ask us to hand it back or delete it.

Who we are
Studio Lab operates this website (studiolab.au) and the products described on it: VTN, a free in-room tourism television channel for hotels funded by tourism advertising, and Lobby Bobby, an AI lobby concierge. We are based in Perth, Western Australia.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you would like our full legal entity details in writing, email sales@studiolab.au and we will provide them.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into an enquiry form. This website has no accounts, no logins and no guest-facing data capture. There are four forms, and this is the complete list of fields each one sends to us:
- Contact formYour name, email address, company name and your message.
- Book a demoYour name, hotel or company name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Advertising property assessmentHotel or property name, number of rooms, contact name, email address, your current in-room distribution system and your desired star-rating goal.
- Quick contact panelYour name, email address and your message.
Every form also carries a hidden anti-spam field that real visitors never see or fill in. To stop abuse, our server briefly counts recent submissions against the requesting IP address. That count is held in server memory for a short window and is not written to a database or attached to your enquiry.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry. That is the whole purpose. We use your details to reply, to answer questions about VTN or Lobby Bobby, to arrange a demonstration, or to prepare a proposal for your property.
We do not add you to a marketing list, build a profile of you, or use your details to target advertising. Providing your details is voluntary, but we cannot respond to an enquiry without at least a way to reach you.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to us as email. We use Resend as our email delivery provider, which means your submission passes through Resend’s infrastructure on its way to our inbox at sales@studiolab.au. Resend’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Once the email reaches us it sits in our business email system, where only the Studio Lab people who need to answer your enquiry can see it.
Hosting and analytics
This website is hosted by Vercel. As with any web host, Vercel processes the technical request data needed to serve a page to your browser.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand which pages are visited and how quickly they load. Both are cookieless and collect no personally identifying data — they do not set a tracking cookie, do not follow you across other websites, and do not tell us who you are.
We do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.
We do not sell your data
Studio Lab does not sell your personal information, and does not share it with anyone for their marketing purposes. We do not supply enquiry details to data brokers, advertisers or list vendors.
The only situations in which we would disclose your information are: to the service providers named above, strictly so they can perform the function we engaged them for; or where we are required to do so by Australian law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as it serves the purpose you sent it for — answering your question, running the conversation it started, and keeping the ordinary business records that follow from it. When an enquiry no longer serves that purpose and we are not required to retain it, we delete it.
You do not have to wait for that. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it altogether. Email sales@studiolab.au and tell us which you want.
We will confirm we are dealing with the right person, then action the request promptly and confirm to you in writing once it is done. There is no charge. If we cannot action a request — for example, where a law requires us to keep a record — we will tell you why.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, raise it with us first at the address above. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Overseas processing
Our email delivery provider and our website host operate global infrastructure, so your information may be processed or stored on servers located outside Australia. We choose providers that publish their security and privacy commitments, and we only pass on the information required for the service in question.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. The version published here is always the one that applies.
